What you can expect From Your Family Session
Family sessions are scheduled at sunrise or sunset. This is when the light is the most beautiful. You will be able to sit back, relax & enjoy spending time with your family, while I take care of capturing the moment. Generally, I will start our session by getting to know you and your family. Sometimes it takes kids a few minutes to warm up so this time helps them know me a little bit.
What I capture:
I am a lifestyle family photographer - I capture real, authentic moments with light posing. This includes images where everyone is looking and smiling plus more natural images where you are interacting with each other.

30 minute consultation before the session
60 minute session on location or at home
30-60 (color & black and white) edited high resolution digital files presented in a private online gallery

Your family Session FAQs
Lifestyle photography sessions are meant to capture moments that you can capture and cherish for a lifetime. Unlike traditional portrait photography, the idea is to capture real, authentic moments with as little posing as possible.
I will keep and eye on the weather the day of your session. if it doesn't look like we will get the break in the rain then we will reschedule for the earliest available day with no rain. most of the time, there is a break in the rain and we are able to move forward with your session.
Many of my clients choose not to share images online. I 100% respect that choice. If you do choose to let us use images online, I will not post any images that are intimate in nature.
I have worked with all kinds of personalities. I don't expect kids to always "behave" during your session. In fact, if they get to be a little squirmy, that will probably get some genuine smiles and laughter. I want your child to be themselves. if they are curious then we will be curious too, if they need to just be close to mom. I have all kinds of tricks up my sleeve. You don't have to worry, kids misbehave sometimes, that's okay it doesn't bother me. I will try to help redirect that behavior to something fun.
