This family is near and dear to my heart. They serve so much in the community and it was such a joy to to photograph. The unfortunate thing is shortly after this session Blaine was in a horrible car accident. He miraculously survived and has done so much work to heal his body. This most inspiring part of this story (besides God saving him) was watching his wife Sarah walk through this season with such grace.
Sarah is one of the strongest women I know. She loves and cares for deeply. Throughout Blaine’s whole recovery she was there the whole time, Worked full time and took the lions share of taking care of their little one. Not one time did I ever hear Sarah complain. She really leaned into the Lord and has been grateful for every victory. Blaine is still recovering but he has overcome so much. I am excited to see what’s next for the two of them.
So this session was a extended family session (which I love). Due to weather we did move up this session a few days and I am so glad we did. Because the day we did have scheduled turned out to be really cold and wet. Some of this family had flown in for the holiday and this session so we did not have a lot of wiggle room for rescheduling.
Family Session are always fun for me. I love meeting new families and getting to know them. If you are looking for a family photographer, I would be honored to be considered. You are look at my family offerings here. Need some outfit inspiration? Download my guide below.
