Rain won’t stop this family!

You know what they say…3rd times a charm

This wonderful family had to be rescheduled due to weather, and then again due to a COVID exposure. So when we scheduled this session the weather looked good. However, as the week went on rain started to develop in the forecast.

The day on this session I woke up and it was pouring. Looking and the hour by hour on my weather app and consulting my brother in law (he’s an atmospheric scientist) there was a chance for a brief break in the rain near the end of the day.

So with a hope and a prayer we waited.

We got lucky and my prayers were answered!

This was an extended family session and family had to travel into town for this session. I really didn’t want to reschedule again.

Luckily, we did get a break in the rain.

It was chilly, but this family powered through.

This family was so much fun to work with. They were full of joy and laughter. The kids didn’t mind the cold and they were so sweet and loving to each other.

I left this session knowing I was given a gift.

Not only did we get a break from the rain, but I got to laugh, and document this family’s story.

And that is always a blessing.

As soon as the session was over, I got in the car and I started driving to my sons hockey game, it started to rain.

With everything going on in the world I am so grateful that I can spend time with so many wonderful families.

There is still so much love and joy in the world.
