This family has definitely had their fair share.
I met this gorgeous lady several years ago when I was in the throws of motherhood. I had had 2 rough pregnancies back to back and was trying to navigate life with 3 littles. It was a tough few years let me tell ya.
I was trying to keep everyone feed and happy forget about trying to look good.
Then my husband tells me “hey I am nominated for an award and we need to go to this fancy award dinner”
Umm, What! I needed to buy a fancy dress (I don’t wear dresses) and I definitely needed my hair done.
I called the nearest salon and made an appointment ASAP.
Cue this wonderful lady…She asked what do you want to get done today.
I sat there will tears welling up, I had no idea. I had been so deep into motherhood I hadn’t even thought about myself.
Sarah was so sweet and kind, needless to say l left that day feeling and looking great. It’s hard to believe that was almost 6 years ago.
September 11, 2018 her first amazing baby entered the world. After several weeks of bedrest and an emergency C-section, Amelia was born. She was 13 weeks early.
And the NICU rollercoaster had begun. There is nothing that prepares you for the NICU, But Sarah and her family navigated it with grace.
Sarah is one of the strongest most inspiring moms I know.
And Amelia, She has so much spunk and tenacity. She is strong and kind.
I say she is the girl will a million faces because every thought she has is written in her expressions.
She may be small but, She is going to rule the world someday!
And she is determined to stay pregnant as long as possible.
She had been on bed rest for months.
Sarah really wanted maternity photos this time but being on bed rest made it a bit challenging
We decided to create a studio set up in her house. Which proved to be tricky because the paper only fit in one spot and that meant we had to cover the window with the best light.
In the end we made it work. Their neighbor had a beautiful tree in their yard so we were able to take a couple of photos right in Sarahs front yard.
Now I am on baby watch. I am so excited to document this next chapter in their journey.
I am here for moms & their families in Noblesville, Westfield, Carmel, Fishers and surrounding areas.
