I couldn’t help but notice a tiny patch of sunflowers basking in the golden glow of the sun right on the side of the road. I had been driving past them for weeks now, and I knew that they were at the end of their life. Its just a little patch of flowers on the side of the road, they are not supposed to be here they just spontaneously popped up one day. Every time I drive past them I smile. They always brighten my day. I know it’s silly, but their vibrant yellow petals were calling me to photograph them before they die.
I just so happen to have had a cancellation that day. And I persuaded my daughter to put on a dress, we hurried over to the side of the road, I grabbed my camera, I love that my daughter (and my son) are always willing to join me on a spontaneous adventure.
Together, we laughed, posed, and snapped pictures, creating precious memories that would forever be etched in our hearts. It was a moment of pure joy, an impromptu escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, reminding us of the simple pleasures that nature can offer.
Since LouLou was dressed up and my son was willing to come too, we decided to extend our impromptu photo session by heading to a nearby local park. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to capture her and E we were already out and about. I know that my time with them is fleeting, they are growing up so fast. So I have to take advantage of these moments.
Here are just a few images from this impromptu shoot. And yes, one of my littles are not in the images, he was at hockey. So I guess that means I will have another impromptu session.
Take advantage of capturing the small moments with your littles. You will never regret those small memories. But if there is a big moment coming up or you just want to update your family photos, I would be honored to be considered. Here are my family offerings.
I am here for moms & their families in Noblesville, Westfield, Carmel, Fishers and surrounding areas.
